Click the "Dialing Properties" button

Click the "Area Code Rules.." button
*** While you are here you can check the box to disable call waiting and enter *70, in the drop down window
It is not universal so you may have to contact you phone company to get the actual code to disable you call waiting

Check the "Always dial the area code (10-digit dialing)." box
Click "OK"
