Interest in this tree has continued to grow and I have met a very good number of cousins via this web sitethat I never, ever would have had the pleasure otherwise. Unfortunately I have not been able to update this tree with all of the new information coming my way and as it continues to pour in I see that it is going to be a monumental task. But development of information for my own lineages apart from the Baughs is an ongoing and equally vital project. I will continue to collect information on Baughs and related surnames and try to connect searchers of like information. It usually works out that I get as much or more help as I am able to give.

Assembly of this site was an intense and lengthy exercise in html coding. It went well beyond the mere learning process. But that's OK. After the second try, I now have a format for the page layout that I like quite a bit. For the time being there will be no large scale changes in this site, only the information content will be modified to reflect corrections and new information.
